Anxiety and Depression
For many of us there are times in life when our levels of anxiety or low mood start to dominate the way we think and feel – both physically and emotionally. Clinical hypnosis can support you in reducing that anxiety and finding the joy and confidence in yourself and in life again.
Taking a solution focused approach, we work with your present strengths and future goals, rather than dwelling on past traumas or negative experiences. You will develop your own coping strategies to navigate life's challenges with resilience and confidence. By tapping into your inner resources, you'll discover newfound strength to overcome obstacles and thrive in the face of adversity. Many clients also find relief from physical symptoms related to anxiety such as IBS and disturbed sleep.
Throughout the process we will explore how the brain works and what is happening when we feel anxious and depressed. For many clients this is one of the most powerful aspects of the therapy. Understanding your own brain (how amazing it is, but that sometimes it can get it wrong) opens up possibilities and creates confidence and belief in the coping strategies we develop together over time.
